Two men were arrested on suspicion of affray after a fight broke out outside a Midhurst pub on Saturday afternoon (June 30).
Police officers and the ambulance service were called to the Wheatsheaf Inn on Rumbolds Hill shortly before 2pm after reports that both men had been injured in a fight.
A police spokesman said they were treated by paramedics and then arrested.
A 47 year old man from Stedham and a 58 year old man from Chichester were both questioned and later bailed by police until July 27.
