Man dies after crash on A285 at Duncton

A 79-year-old man has died following a collision on the A285 at Duncton.

At around 2.50pm yesterday (Wednesday, September 28) a Honda motorbike travelling northbound and a Peugeot 306 car travelling southbound were in collision.

The rider of the motorbike, a man from Leatherhead, Surrey, was taken to Kings College London by air ambulance and sadly died a short time later from his serious injuries.

The driver of the Peugeot, a 22-year-old man from Carshalton, Surrey, was uninjured.
