Two Midhurst pupils are among the stars of today’s (Thursday, August 20) GCSE exam results at Christ’s Hospital, Horsham.

The top scoring pupils are Phoebe Thornhill who achieved 12 A* grades and Katrina Troth who was awarded 11 A* grades.

Pupils and staff throughout the school have been celebrating today with 70.1 per cent of all grades at A* or A.

91 per cent gained A*-B and the overall pass rate was 99.9 per cent.

Phoebe was one of two pupils who gained 12 A* grades and Katrina was one of three who gained 11 A*s. Head Master, John Franklin, said: “I am absolutely delighted. I fully recognise the hard work that lies behind these superb results both on the part of the pupils and their teachers, and I congratulate them on their achievements.”
