INTRUDERS broke into Midhurst’s Texaco petrol station last night, stealing cigarettes

The break-in happened some time overnight (February 10) and there was a police presence at the garage on the Bepton Road today as investigations continued.

A police spokesman said: “We were called at 6am today (Wednesday, February 11) after a member of staff arriving at the Save service station in Bepton Road, Midhurst, reported that it had been broken in.

“Intruders had broken in through the front of the shop and stole cigarettes before escaping.”
