UPDATE: Four in hospital after car flips onto its roof in Duncton

Emergency services were called to Duncton yesterday evening (July 11) after a car flipped onto its roof.

The incident, on the A285 at Duncton Hill, was reported to West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service at around 9.46pm.

One vehicle was involved in the crash and five people were reported to be inside the car when crews arrived. No-one was trapped in the accident.

Two paramedic cars and an ambulance were sent to the scene and first aid was given to all five involved in the accident.

A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service said a woman, who was suffering from chest pain, and a man, who was suffering from a head injury, were taken to St Richards Hospital in Chichester for further treatment

They added two children were also treated for minor injuries at the scene and were also sent to the same hospital for further checks.
