VIDEO: Dora needs a new home

AN APPEAL has been made for a home for a ‘happy, friendly, little dog’.

Chichester dog warden Viviane Magrath is hoping someone will offer Dora the Staffordshire bull terrier a home.

“She was signed over to the dog wardens when her owner was no longer able to look after her,” said Viviane.

“She is a happy, friendly, little dog.

“She is a ready-made house pet.”

Dora, thought to be about five or six years old, is well-trained, walks well on the lead, is good with people and appears to be good with other dogs.

Alan Young runs Amberley Kennels, in Hambrook, where Chichester’s dog wardens house the strays they take in.

“We see a lot of dogs and she is a really good one,” he said.

Viviane added: “She is a good dog and she doesn’t deserve to be in kennels.”

If you think you could offer Dora a loving new home call the dog wardens on 01243 785166 from 8.45am to 5.10pm Monday to Thursday or 8.45am to 5pm on Fridays.
