It’s all part of our Summer of Love campaign to promote the feelgood factor and keep everyone smiling even though the sun may not always shine.

As you can see from the video, the Summer Solstice got off to a grey and misty start, though the air was warm and humid.

Our mini movie includes much-appreciated contributions including films from West Dean Primary School and 1st South Bersted Air Scout Cubs enjoying their ‘grand howl’.

Thanks to everybody who got involved and sent in contributions!

The sun made a brief appearance during the afternoon, but there was plenty of fun to be had in the evening.

Hundreds took part in the charity Moonlight Walk in aid of St Wilfrid’s Hospice.

And music fans flocked to Blues on The Farm, part of the Festival of Chichester, where former Rolling Stone Bill Wyman was performing with his Rhythm Kings band.

Goodwood was packed with racing fans who were treated to a spectacular show of music and lasers by DJ Trevor Nelson.
