Lynchmere lines back on agenda

A PROPOSED Traffic Regulation Order for double yellow lines for a stretch of Marley Lane, Lynchmere, will be discussed by North Chichester County Local Committee this month.

If the plan for the changes are successful, the order will provide double yellow line parking restrictions on a stretch of Marley Lane, with the aim of improving road safety and preventing dangerous parking on a bend in the road.

Michael Brown, committee chairman, said: “This new meeting date replaces the January meeting, which we unfortunately had to cancel at very short notice due to the snow preventing officers and members from getting to the meeting.

“I apologise once again for the last-minute cancellation, but hope interested residents and local councils will be able to join us on this new date.”

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, from 7pm, at Fernhurst Primary School, Fernhurst.
