More needs to be done for homeless

I AM writing to support the comments made in your paper last week by Jonathan Fulford.

The people who need the support and shelter are in the main in the city – not out in the wilds.

I hope the people who objected to the provision of such an essential service nearer to where it is needed (whether Christian or not) will not feel awkward to hear of two more deaths so near to Christmas.

Of course this hostel should be in the city, close to all other facilities and certainly within the ring-road.

The clients of the hostel are human beings who need help and I have to remind myself that there but for the grace of God... We must get something done about this,
