I AM writing with regard to the proposed service cuts by Stagecoach, especially the number 1 and 60 bus routes.
I am unable to drive and completely rely on these services, as do my children and their families who live in Worthing and East Preston.
As none of us drives, it is a great worry to know that in the event of an emergency, I would be unable to reach them.
It also seems a great shame, just as Midhurst has become the heart of the new South Downs National Park, that people will have fewer opportunities to visit.
Would it not be possible to reduce the daytime frequencies of other services, especially the Coastliner number 700s instead?
I presume that if the Sunday services are cut, I will be entitled to a reduction on my seven-day Megarider tickets?
