I AM WRITING about the state of access along the footpath of Second Avenue in Southbourne on a Saturday; no-one can walk its length without having to walk in the road.
This is an issue that is becoming commonplace in the Chichester district, and yet no official body seems to acknowledge this problem.
Perhaps it will wait until there is a fatality before the bylaws are adhered to.
This I feel is just another case of the dumbing-down of law and its enforcement, with subsequent erosion of our society.
This would not have been allowed 30 years ago.
Where are the traffic wardens?
