Where is the proof?

Have your say

I REFER to Madestein’s advertiser’s announcement (Observer, October 20) in which they present a PR article in support of their planning application for the monster glass house factory in Almodington.

I read with disbelief their assertion that ‘from the evidence we have gathered, most of the alternative crops suggested (as an alternative to lettuce) actually produce slightly less HGV traffic’.

In the interests of a full and open public debate on this claim, I would ask Madestein to publish full details of the data used, its actual source and the assumptions used in arriving at the assertion that this would result in less HGV traffic.
