Why are dentists so inaccessible?

FOR SOME reason many dental surgeries are in first-floor premises.

This limits access to people fit enough to climb an often steep flight of stairs.

There must be an increasing number of people for whom dental treatment is a problem.

Even when situated at street level the odd couple of steps occur, seemingly just to cause difficulty.

Is there anywhere in Chichester where it is possible to step from an electric scooter into a dentist’s chair?

I can get into my barber without difficulty, why not a dentist?
