AN application for a currently empty shop to sell alcohol has been granted by Adur's licensing sub-committee.
The request by Shoreham Stores Ltd, formerly the Ken Johnstone shop, in Shoreham High Street to become an off-licence was granted on Monday, November 16.

Permission was granted for a licence until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, 11.30pm from Monday to Friday and 11pm on Sundays, as long as the personal licence holder was in the shop from 10pm on Friday and Saturday nights.

The licence starts at 7am.

The original application included opening hours of 3am on Friday and Saturday nights, but this was changed after consultation with the police.

What do you think of the decision to allow the licence?
