Meet the women who made cricket history in Selsey

Selsey's women's cricket team

CRICKET history was made in Selsey when the town’s first competitive women’s cricket match was held.

The newly-formed Selsey team (pictured above) took on St James Montefiore from near Brighton.

Selsey are taking part in the Sussex 20/20 League division two.

St James were the victors but Selsey will hope for a different outcome when they next play at home, at 6pm on Wednesday, May 23.
