Nicky Forster has officially ruled himself out of the running for the vacant Eastbourne Borough job.
The one-time Brighton captain was believed to be one of the favourites to land the Priory Lane job – along with former Seagull Gary Hart.
However, Forster told the Herald this morning that he is not interested in the post.
The journeyman striker, who enjoyed successful stints at Reading and Birmingham City as well as the Withdean, is currently guiding non league Dover.
