Anthony Ender will play for Bognor in their home Sussex Senior Cup third-round clash with Eastbourne United tonight - if the game gets the go-ahead, that is.

New Rocks stopper Will Britt has hurt his back in training and Ender - the Chichester keeper who has stepped into the breach for the Rocks a number of times before - is set to deputise.

Another surprise inclusion in the squad will be Daryl Wollers, the young left-back who has spent months on the sidelines awaiting a groin operation.

He has still not had the surgery but has been told he could play occasionally without doing further damage, so is set for a place on the bench tonight.

But the Rocks are without Harvey Whyte - another training-ground casualty, with a rolled ankle - and Stuart Axten, who is still a week or so away from fitness after an ankle injury.

Boss Jamie Howell said: “We’re very grateful to Sean Forry and Chichester City for helping us out with being able to use Anthony. We’re just depserate to get a game on.”

Officials are keeping an eye on the state of the pitch today but hope to get the game on - the Rocks have had six postponements already this year.

Admission prices are reduced - it’s £6 for adults, £2 for under-18s and students.

We’ll have a full match report on this website tonight, and there’ll be all the latest from Nyewood Lane in the Observer on Thursday.
