LIVERPOOL are preparing a bid for Paris St Germain and Argentina midfielder Ezequiel Lavezzi.

According to reports, the Reds are plotting an £18m bid for the 29-year-old winger. Spanish newspaper Marca claim that the Ligue 1 champions are willing to sell Lavezzi in order to fund their bid for Real Madrid midfielder Angel Di Maria. Daily Star

ARSENAL have announced the signing of Southampton defender Calum Chambers for a fee worth up to £16m. Chambers has agreed a five-year contract and it is believed that Arsene Wenger is attracted to the youngster’s versatility.
