Selsey boss Adam Hinshelwood asked his team to find some extra effort - and was rewarded with his first win since his return to the High Street Ground.
The manager brought in some new faces after feeling he was not getting total commitment from every player in his first couple of games back in charge of the Blues.
But that altered at Redhill where a hard-working performance brought a 3-0 win courtesy of goals from Omar Bugiel (2) and Graham Bush.
Hinshelwood: “I was delighted. There was a question mark over the work-rate of the team and they’ve shown what they can do. I told them they should never come off wondering if they’d put in 100 per cent.”
Bugiel is back at Selsey after going to Burgess Hill with Hinshelwood and the Blues have also taken a handful of Rocks youngsters on dual registration, including defender Connor Cody, who was impressive at Redhill.
Selsey visit high-flying East Preston on Saturday.
