Chichester City Youth FC held their tenth annual six-a-side football tournament at Chichester High School for Boys.

A total of 128 teams from Hampshire, Surrey and Sussex competed on eight football pitches over Saturday and Sunday.

The weather was very kind – it helped bring out large crowds of supporters for all the teams and encouraged some great football across all the age groups from under-seven through to under-16.

The tournament was hailed a great success by visiting teams and match officials, who enjoyed their visit to the city from surrounding areas, with many of the teams stating they were already looking forward to returning next year.

Age-group winners: U7/U8 – non-competitive, all players received a trophy; U9 – Winners All Stars, runners-up Worthing Minors; U10 – Winners All Stars, runners-up Felpham Colts; U11 - Winners Barnham Trojans, runners-up Whyke United; U12 - Winners Wimbledon Park Tigers Black, runners-up Meon Milton; U13 - Winners Havant & Waterlooville White, runners-up Rustington Otters; U14 - Winners University of Portsmouth, runners-up Ferring Youth; U15 - Winners University of Portsmouth White, runners-up Denmead; U16 - Winners Chichester City Youth Green, runners-up Chichester City Youth White.
