Pagham march on - but City and Selsey slip up

Pagham marched on at the top of division one of the Sussex League with a 2-1 home win over Redhill.

The victory kept them two points clear of second-placed Rye, and Carl Stabler’s team have three games in hand over their East Sussex rivals.

But there was more woe for Chichester and Selsey.

Chichester went down 2-1 at Peacehaven and the Blues lost 3-1 at Three Bridges.

In division two, Midhurst lost 4-2 at Bexhill, but in division three Bosham were 3-2 home winners over Pease Pottage.

West Sussex League action involved another win for division-one leaders Lavant, who won 4-1 away to Barnham reserves.
