Pompey administrator Trevor Birch has admitted the chance of Pompey playing in league one next season is 50/50.
Birch made the admission to creditors at a meeting at Fratton Park this morning.
He said: ‘No-one is making the noises that will convince me. I am still trying to keep them at the table.’
The administrator told members of the audience that at present no bids had been made for the club and the future of the club is in the balance.
