POMPEY fans have been praised by Doncaster’s chairman after their side’s win on Saturday.
John Ryan wrote that the away supporters were a joy to host and deserved to see Pompey stay up following the Blues’ dramatic 4-3 win.
Mr Ryan emailed Pompey administrator Trevor Birch asking him to pass on his thanks after match, which saw two stoppage-time goals for the Blues by Dave Kitson and Marko Futacs.
