Joel Ward is set to weigh up his options over the weekend before deciding where his future lies.
A host of Championship clubs want to sign the Pompey ace, including Leeds and Ipswich.
But, despite reports that Leeds have already agreed a deal to sign the Fratton favourite, The News understands that Ward will make his mind up in the next few days ahead of a Blues exit.
Ward will be the second first-team player to leave the club since the end of the season, after Jason Pearce moved to Elland Road in a £500,000 deal last weekend.
