Ollie Pearce’s goal wasn’t enough to get the Rocks back to winning ways at Margate.

Peace put Jamie Howell’s team ahead on 16 minutes but Charlie Allen levelled ten minutes later - and neither side could find a winner.

The point leaves the Rocks one place outside the play-off zone - sixth, but with at least one game in hand on all but one of the teams above them.

They head to Lancing on Monday for their Sussex Senior Cup semi-final against Horsham YMCA while their next league match is at Grays on Thursday.

In division one of the county league, wins for Chichester City and Pagham took them eighth and tenth respectively.

City won 2-1 at home to Shoreham thanks to goals by Julian Boniface and Alex Ansa. Pagham were 2-0 winners over Lingfield after late goals by Ruben French and Scott Murfin.

Selsey didn’t fare as well - losing 3-0 at Dorking.

In division two, Midhurst lost 1-0 at home to Little Common.
