Goodwood Cricket Club saw an excellent turnout of members for the NatWest Cricket Force work morning.

They spent time preparing the ground, cleaning the pavilion and getting everything ready for their first game on Sunday, April 17, against Madehurst.

Goodwood CC have a strong Sunday fixture list playing local teams like Madehurst, Middleton, Havant and Steyning as well as wandering teams such as London New Zealanders, Sussex Martlets, WPP and the Cricketers Club of London.

This season some 87 games have been scheduled at Goodwood including matches Goodwood Cricket Club (20), Goodwood Staff XI (13), Chichester Priory Park seniors (13) and Chichester Priory Park juniors (36), including three cricket camps organised by Sean Dobbs.

This sees further enhancement of the strong links with Chichester Priory Park who, with Goodwood Estate and Goodwood Cricket Club, are working to further the cricketing opportunities in the community.
