A TENNIS tournament will be held at Oaklands Park, Chichester, on Sunday, August 26 for the diabetes charity JDRF.
It takes place from 1pm, with all abilites welcome.
Organiser Charlie Smith said: “As part of my efforts to raise money for the valuable work that JDRF do to help find a cure for type-one diabetes. I’m organising a unisex doubles - you can partner up with a male or female - tennis tournament. I am also running the Berlin Marathon at the end of September to try and raise more money.
“Come along on August 26 at 1pm, play some tennis and have some fun while raising money for a valuable cause.”
Smith thanked Chichester Racquets & Fitness Club and the district council for donating the court time and Tennyson Insurance for donating prizes. Entry is £5 with all proceeds going to the charity – enter at chazsmi.com or by calling 07946 427264.
