Athletes from Chichester Westgate Triathlon Club’s juniors and youth section entered the Hamble Aquathlon run by Chapel Tristars.

Five youth athletes and six juniors travelled to Southampton to swim and run against competitors from clubs around the region.

Farrow won her category , swimming 400m in 5.35min and running 3k in 11.47.

Ellie Farrow, Luke Campbell, Megan McCulloch, Evie Gilbert and Dan Lamport represented the youth section, for youngsters aged 15 and 16. Farrow won her category , swimming 400m in 5.35min and running 3k in 11.47.

Millie Dutton, Florence Ingram, Edith Ingram, Freya Farrow, Johnny Farrow and Josh O’Leary represented the juniors (aged eight to 14).

A number of them have just moved up age groups so were competing against athletes almost two years older.

Florence, eight, did exceptionally well coming eighth out of 16.
