Were you one of the 800-plus who took to the streets of Chichester and the surrounding countryside for the city’s 2016 half marathon?
This year’s event also featured, for the first time, a ten-miler for people who didn’t fancy 13 and a three-person relay option.
The main half marathon was won for the fifth time in the five renewals since it was revived by Chichester Runners’ James Baker, coming home comfortably in first place in a time of 1hr 19min.
Chichester athletes were also second, third and fourth as Mikey Neville, Charles Rodmell and Mike Houston followed Baker home, while the city club also had the women’s half marathon winner, Anne Sydenham, and the first past the post in the ten-miler, Peter Concannon.
