Rugby youngsters fly the flag for Bognor at Horsham

BOGNOR’S under-nines (pictured) did the club proud at Horsham RFC in a West Sussex festival featuring nine clubs.

They reached the West Sussex salver final, beating Midhurst 6-1.

Captain Charile Jays led his team with his powerful foward play assisted by the impressive Elvis Millen and Jamie Foote.

Ethan Teasdale and Lewis Walker helped the team to 16 tries on the day.

Tom Cohen, Jasper Hooton, Ben Woolnough, newcomer Charlie Weller, veteran Owen Thomas, Lewis Arbuckle and Harry Lindsey and Oliver Page all played their part. The Bognor under-tens beat Midhurst to win their salver final.
