HE’S done it again - and no-one begrudged Richard Hannon another bow as Goodwood’s top trainer.

With 18 race victories on the Downs to his name over Goodwood’s 19-fixture season, the Wiltshire-based stalwart lifted the Dick Hern Trophy for the tenth time, and the fifth time in the past six seasons.

Fittingly he was presented with the prize by Richard Hughes, who has ridden many of those winners and unsurprisingly finished the season as Goodwood’s top jockey, with 14 wins.

See our video of Hannon receiving the prize.

Below is the final tally for trainers and jockeys who won more than one of Goodwood’s 129 races in 2013.

See this week’s Observer for coverage of Sunday’s rain-hit season finale.
