Summer walks from Haslemere Museum

A SERIES of summer walks starts from Haslemere Museum on Sunday, July 8.

When local historian Tim Winter will lead participants along Church Lane, Tanners Lane and Lower Street, pointing out buildings of interest, their history and people of note who have lived there.

The walk starts at 2.30pm and is free but donations may be given to the museum.

A second walk, on August 8, will focus on the town’s High Street.
