Painters and craftspeople from the local area and further away have work on show until April 28 at the Studio Gallery near Midhurst.
The gallery, on the A272 west of the town, is run by Jean Jackson, wife of sculptor Philip Jackson. She has invited exhibitors whose work, she believes, will blend together and with the gallery setting.
They include artist Tuema Pattie from Duncton, who is exhibiting some of her oil paintings of Sussex and winter scenes at Lavington Common.
“They are charming and evocative, and complement beautifully the bold and majestic hedgerow scenes painted by Robert Eadie from Petworth,” Mrs Jackson said.
Other paintings are by Julian Bond, a regular exhibitor at the gallery, Robert Dellar, who lives near Hindhead, Gilly McCadden from the Chichester area, and Jill Storey from Twickenham. Seven exhibitors have pots and bowls in porcelain and hand-crafted jewellery on display.
