Secular and sacred music in Rogate

THERE will be a whole range of melodies for music-lovers in Rogate on Sunday, September 16.

The Triptych Singers, a group of musicians from London, will be performing at St Bartholomew’s Church.

The programme of music will feature a mix of secular and sacred music, featuring composers such as Elgar, Purcell, Tallis and Standord.

The concert is in aid of the church’s roof appeal. Entry is free but there will be a collection.

The performance starts at 6pm, and there will be a range of styles from barbershop to madrigal.

Refreshments will be provided during the interval, and audience members
are also invited to join the singers for a pre-booked hot supper after the concert, at a cost of £5.

More details of the concert and a booking list for the supper are all available in the church.
