Police investigating "unexplained" death of a Durrington woman

POLICE have launched an investigation following the death of a 53-year-old woman in Durrington.
An ambulance attended an address in Bodmin Road, Durrington, yesterday afternoon (Thursday, May 15) following a report of a woman with head injuries.

A 53-year-old woman was taken to Worthing Hospital, where she died later that day.

Her death is being treated as unexplained and police are now investigating.

Police today (Friday, May 16) were searching the address in Bodmin Road for any clues as to what led to the woman's death.

Update: Police are no longer treating the death of a 53-year-old Durrington woman as suspicious.
