Wrong-way driver led police to Worthing 'cocaine' stash

A WOMAN stopped by police for driving the wrong way down a one-way street was arrested after officers found drugs in her car and home.
The woman, who is in her 30s, was stopped in Gratwicke Road at around 6.50pm on Thursday, February 5, driving illegally in the wrong direction.

The police smelled cannabis on her and searched the car, discovering a quantity of herbal cannabis and some cash.

Her Worthing home was also searched, where officers found powder they believe to be cocaine.

She was released on police bail pending forensic examination of the powder.
