Steam rally to host one of the largest gatherings of heritage vehicles in Sussex
More than 1,100 exhibits will be attending this year’s volunteer-led rally being held on July 9 and 10 at Wiston Park, Steyning Road, Steyning.
More than 40 steam engines will be on show, including rollers, road locomotives, lorries, showman’s engines and miniature engines.

Hide AdArena events will include a steam parade, vintage vehicle parades and a family favourite - The Steam Games, plus a chance to steer a full size steam engine.
There will also be a steam powered demonstration of wood cutting, a traditional funfair and craft and food tent. Also attending will be the BSA Bantam Club who will be staging their national rally with 90 motorbikes.
Anne Whittingstall of Sussex Steam Shows said: “We are delighted to be hosting a weekend of fun-filled family entertainment at Wiston for the sixth year.
“We have had overwhelming support from our exhibitors and visitors over the past six years” and added: “We are excited to be putting on one of the largest steam rallies in Sussex and raising money for local charities.”
The event will raise money for SERV Sussex (The Bloodrunners) as well as local charities.
