Enterprise Week set to offer businesses across Worthing, Shoreham and Littlehampton some invaluable support
Taking place between Monday, March 18 and Friday, March 22, these free events will feature themed days including a must-see opening “ask the panel” session with several key entrepreneurs from the area.
This offers the chance to quiz Andy Sparsis from Food Restaurant, Mike Jones of Michael Jones estate agency and Adur and Worthing Business Award-winner Zoe Clark, of Euphoric.

Hide AdThe week covers all aspects of starting and running your own business and a variety of relevant topics will be covered. Everything from sales techniques, getting your business in the press, branding and design, trading as a small business, Insurance for small businesses, marketing, financial support, business growth and networking tips and a special ‘Gear Up for Success’ workshop will be on offer.
Northbrook College, which is one of the event’s key sponsors, will be available to provide one-to-one advice for both employers and individuals about the benefits of employing or becoming an apprentice and the current government incentives available.
Apprentices employed by the college will also be on hand to discuss their experiences and what is like to go through the scheme.
In addition, the University of Chichester will be present to provide advice on its graduate scheme for businesses and how this can support business projects.

Hide AdThere will also be a representative from Job Centre Plus on hand to advise how businesses can become involved in the work experience scheme and the financial support available for employers in addition to supporting future recruitment strategies. (No appointment is necessary just drop in at the Business Development Centre for Adult and Employer Skills at 17 Liverpool Gardens between 9am - noon).
There are also days dedicated to seminars geared towards assisting new start up enterprises, business sustainability and a day dedicated to business growth and examining export opportunities.
This will also feature sessions on making best use of social media.The Enterprise Week will conclude with a showcase event from Worthing and Adur Chamber of Commerce, examining the impact which some of the larger companies within the area have on smaller and medium enterprises.
Northbrook College will be running its own industry week in tandem with the series of events.
