NHS organisations look at new offices in Lewes
According to council papers, Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and the East Sussex Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG) are both in the process of seeking leases on space in Sackville House – a council-owned office building in South Downs Road.
The potential lease agreements are set to be considered by East Sussex County Council’s lead member for resources Nick Bennett, at a meeting next Tuesday (October 20).

Hide AdPapers say the lease arrangements require sign off from Cllr Bennett as the annual rent will exceed £25,000 per annum, in one case by more than £100,000. The exact rental costs are currently confidential.
Both organisations are each taking two separate leases on the office space and have agreed to invest in the building’s refurbishment.
Sackville House was previously used as council offices, but was largely vacated by the authority in 2016.
Part of the building is also home to the offices of the Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner.
