Men jailed over armed robbery in Eastbourne Beacon

Gavin Walter, 41, and Paul Mitchell, 39, pleaded guilty to the robbery at W Bruford, which saw 15 Rolex watches worth up to £150,000 stolen from the jewellery store.
The pair, from Sutton in Surrey, were sentenced to eight years after appearing in court on Thursday (February 27), according to police.

Hide AdTwo suspects are still at large following the robbery and continue to be sought by officers.
The incident unfolded when four men – all wearing masks covering their faces, and one carrying a pick axe or hammer – entered W Bruford at 10am on January 26.
They made off with the expensive watches and armed police and a police helicopter were sent to scour the area for them.
Walter and Mitchell were arrested on the Cuckoo Trail near Station Road later that day.
A further two men are wanted in connection with the incident.
