This year it was the turn of St Margaret's to host the event, including a "royal" procession and Maypole and country dancing.

Hide AdSt Margaret's pupil Kayleigh Neale, 11, was crowned May Queen by last year's holder of the title, St Wilfrid's schoolgirl Rosie Varndell.
She was then joined on a beautifully decorated trailer by May King Ryan Tattersall, 11, from St Wilfrid's, May Prince, Zach Swain, 11, from St Margaret's, and May Princess Lois McGregor, 11, from St Wilfrid's.
The girls looked pretty in their flowing white dresses and the boys very smart in their suits and ties.
They rode at the front of the procession from Bewley Road, where pupils from both schools lined up behind the trailer to walk up to the St Margaret's grounds for the Maypole dancing and other dances, on a glorious afternoon, watch by many families.
