Generous donation means homeless charity can expand its day centre
Staff at The Clock Tower Sanctuary, which receives no statutory funding, said they were 'shocked' at the news that RiverStone Management Ltd had chosen them to receive the donation.
Natalia Borg, development manager at The Clock Tower Sanctuary, said: “This unbelievable donation means we will be able to expand, doubling the space of the day centre. We are so grateful to everyone at RiverStone – we still can’t quite believe it!”

Hide AdMs Borg said that Brighton and Hove is now home to the UK's second largest homeless population, and described the challenge faced by The Clock Tower Sanctuary in finding space and resources to support vulnerable young people.
The Clock Tower Sanctuary provides a drop-in service specifically for homeless 16 to 25 year olds in Brighton and Hove, but staff said the charity had been struggling to support the growing need for the service because of the small size of its current premises in central Brighton.
A RiverStone spokesperson said homelessness was a key concern for many of its employees and that the comoany was 'delighted' to make the donation and give back to the local community.
