Lots of fun to be had at Bognor Regis fire station open day
The fire crews will be welcoming the public into the West Meads Drive building between 1am-4pm this Saturday (August 22).
They hope to see as many people as possible, but then to never see them again because that would show the community safety messages from the open day had worked.

Hide AdDick Sargent, a watch manager at the fire station, said: "The event is all about community safety. We want to try to prevent people needing our help.
"That could be through safety in their homes or out on the roads."
Previous open days have attracted between 500 and 1,000 visitors a time. This year's will have a wide range of fire engines on display as well as demonstrations of firefighting and rescue techniques.
The children's favourite of rides in a fire engine will again be available along with displays by fire cadets.

Hide AdThe importance of installing fire alarms and thinking about fire safety will also be emphasised.
