Musicians wanted
A couple of cancellations have left the hospital Friends charity without any musical entertainment for Saturday's fundraiser.
The lack of tunes has led Anita Sturdey, from the Friends, to issue an urgent appeal for help to set the mood for the important community occasion.

"They should get in touch with myself or Debby Beach on 01243 865418 before 3pm tomorrow."
The fete starts at 1pm in the hospital's Shripney Road grounds. A climbing wall and a face painter will be new attractions.
They will be alongside traditional crowd-pullers such as stalls, cream teas, barbecue, tombolas and a grand draw.

Current projects include new chairs for ward patients, a lifting hoist, curtains for the hydrotherapy pool area, an ECG machine and specialist ear, nose and throat equipment.
"We are looking forward to seeing lots of people on Saturday to help us continue to support our community hospital," added Mrs Sturdey.
* Anyone who can spare some muscle power and an hour tomorrow from 5.30pm to assemble the stalls for the fair and at 4pm on Saturday to dismantle them should just turn up at the hospital with a pair of gardening-type gloves.
