Now people from outside Littlehampton tell us they are also suffering and are backing our campaign (Doreen Benham's letter, Gazette, May 3). Thank you for that.
When we compare our lack of services with Bognor, including train services, we are very badly served.

The proposal for a figure-of-eight bus route for Littlehampton sounds ok, especially if it stops at our railway station, encouraging more day trippers.
If the developers are willing to contribute to the cost of further, much-needed transport, why not now, otherwise it will be too late for us older people who have been deprived of the simple pleasures which keep us healthy in mind and body, for too long?
I have had an invitation to apply for a flat from McCarthy & Stone, showing a beautifully furnished building, ready for occupation in August.

Soon, it will be just an old people's town, and the young people and families will be fighting the electric scooters, taking up all the pavement.
At least the concessionary bus fares for young people are good news.
