Recently, I underwent a procedure at Worthing Endoscopy Unit and have nothing but praise for all staff there.

While I had no doubts as to their ability to attend to my medical needs, I am most grateful for the emotional support when I experienced considerable discomfort and consequent anxiety, post procedure.

Theatre and recovery staff deserve recognition for their continuous understanding, prompt response and monitoring throughout my stay there and the kindness shown to me by their very cheerful and reassuring volunteer made an otherwise “uncomfortable” experience much more bearable.

I was discharged the same day with the knowledge that should I need further advice, I could contact the unit.

No-one chooses to have endoscopic investigations but given the outstanding care shown to me, I would have no hesitation in reassuring others who may have to undergo procedures under the care of this unit.
