New data reveals how many Covid-19 deaths there have been in the Horsham area

The Office of National Statistics (ONS) said up until May 22 (including deaths registered up to May 30) 99 people have died in Horsham with Covid-19.

They include deaths where there is any mention of Covid-19 on the death certificate.

Fifty people died in hospital, 44 in care homes, three at home, one in a hospice and one elsewhere.

In the same period there were 716 deaths registered, according to the ONS.
