More than 80 per cent very disappointed in Haywards Heath’s Clair Hall closure consultation, survey shows

Members of the cabinet voted unanimously on Monday (September 14) to permanently close the hall – but officers were asked to come up with plans for a replacement in the future.
In a survey of more than 500 people conducted by the Save Clair Hall movement 83.4 per cent said they were very disappointed with the public consultation on the decision.

Hide AdOne person claimed the town was being ‘neglected’ and said the decision was woeful and another said Clair Hall will be ‘very difficult to replace’.
Out of 548 survey responses 38 per cent said they attend two or three times a year and 30.8 per cent said they attend at least monthly.
