Rye Remembers
A TOTAL of 300 people attended the civic Remembrance Service in Rye on Sunday with many more onlookers at the parade and wreath laying ceremony.
A parade formed from ex service and youth organisations formed in Market Road to be inspected by the Mayor Cllr Shaun Rogers before marching to the Church.
The event was attended by Rye councillors in full robes and regalia.

Hide AdThe service concluded with wreath laying at the Town Memorial in the churchyard when members of local youth organisations placed small wooden cross markers to remember the fallen.
Rye Poppy Appeal organiser Elizabeth Kimber laid a wreath on behalf of MP Amber Rudd.
