They are up against Lewes and Horsham and hoping this is their lucky year. This month’s market will be held on Saturday, December 7, from 11am until 4pm. During the first part of the day there will be a cheque presentation to farming charity RABI from the sale of the Steyning cookbook organised by Kate Gover from Kate’s Cookhouse. The book has already sold around 200 copies, with proceeds going towards RABI. There will also be Christmas carols, Christmas trees, wreaths, 30 stalls of local home-made produce including vegetables, flowers, game, turkey, ducks, geese, beer, cheese, pies, ice cream, chutneys, smoked meats and fish, and many more goods.
